Sebastia is a Palestinian town located in the Nablus Governorate, 12 km northwest of the city of Nablus. The town is considered to have an ancient history and a flourishing civilization that has spanned more than 3,000 years, during which many important historical events and incidents occurred for Palestine and the region in general. Historians have called it the capital of the Romans in Palestine.
